During her time as a Houston Echo Apprentice, Elizabeth faithfully served at Mary Queen Parish for two years while pursuing her Master of Arts in Theology through the Echo Program at the University of Notre Dame. Her commitment to ministry and her passion for helping others reflected the very mission and values of the Echo Program and the McGrath Institute for Church Life.
Known for her kindness, humility, and unwavering faith, Elizabeth touched countless lives through both her professional ministry and personal relationships. Friends and colleagues describe her as thoughtful, compassionate, and deeply devoted to serving others with grace and sincerity. Her presence brought comfort and encouragement to many, and her impact extended far beyond the classroom and parish community.
Elizabeth continued her academic and spiritual journey by earning a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame and later serving within the Office of the Vice President for the University. Her dedication to the Church and higher education reflected a life centered on purpose, faith, and meaningful service. Those who worked alongside her remember her as a remarkable individual whose intelligence, warmth, and generosity left a lasting impression.
